Coaching

Welcome to the Ascent Running: Coaching, where we strive to create an environment where our athletes can realize both their long-term and short-term goals. With daily and weekly communication, we personalize your training by blending your past training history with contemporary training ideas and strategies. Through careful thought and execution, we keep your long-term development at the forefront of any training decision.

We are current and former professional distance runners with experience at the highest levels of our sport on the roads, the track, and the cross-country course. Our staff has competed at multiple NCAA Championships, US Championships, Olympic Trials, and World Championships. Furthermore, we will be available for real-time training decisions and adjustments when life intrudes on your competitive world.

“Christo’s training program has enough structure to get in hard work but the flexibility to build around full-time work schedule.”
